Summary:

Qian Tang River, also known as the "Raksha River", has been turbulent since ancient times. People from Shadi grew up here and suffered from tidal disasters.

Jiang Ping Yuan, a young man who tried to commit suicide, was brought to Taoyuan Village by the tide. He met Lao Jin, who was obsessed with his dreams, Fu Bo, who was rebellious and old, and Xiao Mei, who was looking forward to a better life. He witnessed that in order to keep the remaining arable land, after repeated failures, they still built embankments to block the tide with a slim hope.

The embankment that had been repeatedly destroyed was built again, but was hit by a typhoon. After the wind and rain, Jiang Ping Yuan, who was covered in mud, saw the legendary tidal tree.
