Summary:

Ruri is a sophomore at an agricultural high school studying animal husbandry. Ruri, who grew up in a family with only one mother and one child, balances her busy school life caring for animals with a part-time job to help with the family budget. She is learning the preciousness of "taking life" from her classmates and livestock.

One day, Ruri goes to a nearby high school cultural festival with Momo and is introduced to Masaru who is the same age as her.
